Zamarrud WA Bot ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our Chrome extension, our website and related services.
3. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the service:
- (a) Account data: your WhatsApp number, optional display name, licence key, plan, activation and expiry dates.
- (b) Device data: a random install ID and device token generated by the extension, and your browser's user-agent string, used to bind your licence to your installation and prevent abuse.
- (c) Usage data: the number of messages sent and failed per session (counts only, never message text or recipient numbers), used to enforce plan quotas.
- (d) RSVP data (Ultra and seasonal plans only, and only for campaigns where you enable RSVP tracking): the recipient's phone number, the name you gave them, the reply classification (yes/no/other) and reply time, so your RSVP dashboard is available across devices. Reply message text stays in your browser. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share this recipient data with us.
- (e) Contact-form data: name, email, WhatsApp number and message, delivered to our support team through the Telegram Bot API (Telegram FZ-LLC) and not stored on our web server.
We do not collect your WhatsApp chat history, your uploaded CSV/Excel files, or the content of the messages you send.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To validate your licence and provide access to paid features
- To manage your subscription, trial period and message quotas
- To show your RSVP dashboard across devices (when you enable RSVP tracking)
- To provide customer support
- To prevent abuse and improve our product and services
5. Data Storage & Security
Account, device, usage and RSVP data is stored on our servers. All communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Your message templates, uploaded contact lists and message content are processed in your browser; only the data listed in section 3 reaches our servers.
6. Third Parties
We share data with the following service providers only to the extent needed to operate the service:
- Hosting provider: our website and licence server are hosted by a third-party hosting provider that processes data on our behalf.
- Telegram Bot API (Telegram FZ-LLC): used to deliver contact-form submissions to our support team.
- Google Fonts: our web pages load fonts from Google; your IP address is sent to Google when fonts load.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers within the extension.
7. Cookies
The contact form sets a short-lived PHP session cookie used only for abuse prevention; the admin area uses a session cookie for signed-in staff. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted. RSVP and send-log data is deleted 90 days after your plan expires, or earlier on request.
